Church in the Woods began as a home-based church with one goal: restore the rhythms of grace and love God desires for families. Over the years we kept seeing the same thing. Good ministries and good leaders were getting worn down by money pressure, broken trust, burnout, and conflict, often with no one to call.

CITW - Freedom Session USA is our response. We sit with pastors and ministry leaders as family, pray with them, and bring in some of the most effective ministries we know when more depth is needed.

From Chris Pettit: I don’t come to this as someone who has it all figured out. I’ve walked through some of the hardest seasons of my life, and they humbled me. God has been faithful to refine what came out of them, like gold through fire (1 Peter 1:7). What I learned there is what I bring to the table.
